About the job
Product Manager - Slack, Salesforce & Intelligent Workspace
The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the international organization for public-private cooperation.
The Forum engages the foremost political, business, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.
Why we are recruiting
The Intelligent Workplace team helps Forum staff to work smarter through modern digital tools, integrated platforms, and responsible AI adoption. Central to this is the organization-wide rollout of Slack – making it the place where people collaborate, get support from AI agents, take action on Salesforce, Workday, and other systems, and find information across tools, without constantly switching between them.
In this role you will own Slack, how it connects to other Forum systems, and how it becomes embedded in daily work. You will own the staff-facing workflows moving into Slack, including Salesforce case management, internal collaboration, and integrations with other Forum systems. You will also orchestrate other product teams to bring Salesforce workflows into Slack, including the replacement of Chatter. Beyond delivery, you will also champion new ways of working, partner with our digital enablement team to drive new ways of working across the organization.
This role also looks beyond Slack. The Forum’s digital ecosystem includes many other enterprise tools with fast-evolving AI and productivity capabilities. You will keep oversight of that landscape, ensuring the right capabilities are activated, intentionally positioned, and clearly communicated so staff knows what to use, when, and how it all connects. You will also evaluate how to bring the experience of other tools into Slack, so staff can access more of what they need without leaving where they work.
Responsibilities
Slack Product Management
- Own the Slack platform end-to-end, from configuration, integrations, features, and how it connects to Salesforce, Workday, and other Forum systems
- Own end-to-end product management of staff workflows, including case management and internal collaboration, driving continuous improvement in Salesforce while building Slack as the primary engagement layer
- Orchestrate across product teams to bring Salesforce workflows into Slack, ensuring momentum and a coherent experience
- Define and manage the product roadmap, balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform sustainability
Intelligent workplace & AI capabilities
- Maintain a clear view of AI and productivity capabilities across the Forum's enterprise tools such as Zoom, ChatGPT, Salesforce, Workday, and others
- Evaluate how to bring the experience of other tools into Slack so staff can access more of what they need without leaving where they work
- Ensure features are activated, intentionally positioned, and clearly communicated so staff know what to use and when
Adoption & ways of working
- Drive sustained behavior change across the organization, embedding Slack as the default place for collaboration and a new way of working across teams
- Partner with digital enablement teams to ensure product rollouts are supported by clear change management and adoption, ensuring new capabilities are understood, embedded, and consistently used
- Define and track adoption and usage metrics using data, experimentation, and user feedback to improve the user experience
Preferred Requirements and Experience
- 6+ years in product management for enterprise collaboration platforms, with hands-on experience in Slack and Salesforce in complex organizational environments
- Someone who can energise and influence without authority. You'll need to shape other teams' roadmaps, rally champions, and get end users genuinely engaged
- Strong technical understanding of platform integrations, APIs, and automation with enough to go deep with engineering teams and evaluate trade-offs
- Experience orchestrating across multiple product teams or workstreams where you don't own everything but need to make the whole thing work
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and multi-stakeholder environments where priorities compete
- Clear, confident communicator who can explain complex concepts simply and bring people along
- Experience with workflow automation, AI-enabled capabilities, or embedded agents
- Background in change management or large-scale platform rollouts
- Experience working with Agile delivery teams and tools like Jira
This is an exciting opportunity to own a product that shapes how the entire Forum collaborates and gets work done. You’ll bring together Slack, AI, and core enterprise systems into a connected experience that supports real work, every day.
