Financial Analyst 80 - 100%The Public Prosecutor's Office III of the Canton of Zurich handles qualified economic offences as well as money laundering cases and is also responsible for international legal assistance.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our dedicated team at the Police and Justice Centre Zurich from 1 January 2027 as a Financial Analyst (80-100%).
What to expect from us
As a Financial Analyst at the Public Prosecutor's Office III, you operate at the interface between finance and law and play a key role in clarifying complex economic crimes. You support the public prosecutors in conducting criminal investigations and apply your solid expertise in auditing and accounting to precisely assess and prepare business, financial, tax, and accounting-related issues.
We are seeking a proactive, resilient, and results-oriented individual with a strong affinity for legal matters who enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams and tackling challenging issues.
How to convince us
- University degree (Uni/FH) in Business or Finance or equivalent Swiss federal diplomas (e.g. tax or fiduciary expert)
- Additional qualification: Swiss federal diploma as a Certified Public Accountant desirable
- Several years of experience in auditing, fiduciary services, or finance (national and international context)
- Experience in expert witness work (business management reports / court expert opinions) is a plus
- High proficiency and editorial skill in written German
- Interest in the use of technical solutions and the methodological development of investigation and analysis concepts
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, creativity, assertiveness, perseverance
- High social competence and teamwork skills
- Proficient handling of large data volumes and solid user knowledge of modern analysis and review solutions
