About the job
What you can achieve
- Establishment of the cardiopsychosomatic liaison model in the heart centre area with a focus on psychosocial burdens including delirium prevention and management of cardiac surgical and cardiological patients along the entire treatment pathway including outpatient follow-up care
- Development of appropriate interdisciplinary and interprofessional networking and cooperation within the heart centre and psychosomatics team
- Scientific collaboration in the establishment of a cardiopsychosomatic research team
- Work for the psychosomatic consultation and liaison service in the inpatient and outpatient areas of the University Hospital
- Participation in the training of medical students as well as in continuing education and professional development
What you bring with you
- Swiss or recognised foreign medical diploma or university degree recognised in Switzerland in psychology with a focus on clinical psychology
- Clinical professional experience, preferably in cardiology/internal medicine, psychosomatics, psychiatry or psychotherapy; prior experience in the field of psychocardiology is an advantage
- Independent working and deep interest in psychosomatics in close cooperation with somatic medicine
- Willingness for interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration, communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Existing research interest, prior work an advantage
- Proficiency in German spoken and written, language skills in French/Italian advantageous
