Your role begins well before a train is put into service: at the heart of the network, you ensure the smooth flow of traffic, safety, and the quality of service offered to passengers. Every decision counts, every situation requires discernment, coordination, and composure. We offer you a comprehensive 8-month training program in Renens and Givisiez, during which you learn everything necessary to perform the role of train traffic controller, according to the requirements of the Federal Office of Transport (FOT). During this period, you are employed full-time and remunerated by TPF. At the end of the training, you join the Givisiez operations center as a train traffic controller.

Do you recognize yourself in the following?

• You have completed an initial three-year training (CFC), a maturity certificate, or an equivalent diploma recognized in Switzerland
• You are willing to work irregular hours (nights, weekends, public holidays)
• You demonstrate reliability, rigor, and a good team spirit
• You remain calm under pressure and make thoughtful decisions
• You communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, in French
• You have basic knowledge of German (level A2)
• You have no color vision deficiency
• Your criminal record, dated less than 3 months ago, is clean
