The Social Welfare Office ensures services that support the social and professional integration, social participation, and livelihood security of families, children and youth, people with disabilities, socially and economically disadvantaged people, victims of (domestic) violence, and people with addiction problems. It plans, promotes, and monitors the needs-based offers and structures, which are guaranteed through its own counseling services or in cooperation with various partners. As a clerk, you independently carry out tasks in the area of migration that fall under the responsibility of the Social Welfare Office. This responsibility includes recognized refugees, provisionally admitted refugees, provisionally admitted persons with a stay of more than seven years (VA 7+), as well as persons with protection status S who live in individual accommodations. In addition, you provide organizational support to the various departments of the Social Welfare Office.
We are looking for a clerk for the Migration Coordination Office starting June 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- Administrative processing of initial support and accommodation of refugees and unaccompanied minor refugees after the asylum decision
- Coordinative tasks on current topics in the area of migration (e.g., protection status S)
- Support of the team management in administrative quality assurance and in the further development of workflows and processes
- Ensuring general secretarial and administrative tasks with the admin team
- Collaboration with the relevant specialist areas of the Social Welfare Office, other cantonal offices, the State Secretariat for Migration, and other organizations
- Completed commercial basic training
- Precise written and oral communication skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel
- Independent, responsible, and proactive working style
- Enjoyment in supporting and accompanying people
- Knowledge of the cantonal official languages is an advantage
