About the job

At Thun Hospital, you will encounter the full spectrum of orthopaedics/traumatology and sports medicine. Your responsibilities include both the surgical care of patients (with support from the senior physicians if needed) and covering outpatient clinics and on-call duties.
You will independently and with autonomous scope of action care for patients with injuries and diseases of the entire musculoskeletal system. You will actively participate in internal and external training events.

• Specialist title in Orthopaedic Surgery/Traumatology FMH or equivalent (or near completion of training)
• A team-oriented personality with strong communication and cooperation skills for good interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration
• High social competence, resilience, initiative, and sense of responsibility with great interest in traumatology
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1)

• Recognised training centre for the interdisciplinary focus of orthopaedics/traumatology and sports medicine
• A broad operative and conservative treatment spectrum with high personal responsibility in a category B1 clinic
