Your Tasks
- Medical, personnel, and economic overall management of the Clinic for Cardiology with a focus on interventional cardiology
- Ensuring excellent, patient-centered care at a university level and the latest scientific standards
- Active participation in the further development of interventional and structural cardiology considering the most modern therapeutic procedures
- Strategic development of the Clinic for Cardiology as well as active participation in hospital development
- Establishment and maintenance of interdisciplinary cooperations, especially in anesthesia, intensive care medicine, and radiology
- Representation of the clinic in national and international professional committees and scientific networks
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with internal partners and practicing physicians
- Strengthening regional and national networking with referring colleagues
- Teaching activities in cardiological medical training and cooperation with university partners
- Promotion of research, innovation, and teaching, including training and supervision of assistant and senior physicians
- Commitment to strategic projects and active further development of cardiological care
Your Profile
- Swiss medical diploma or MEBEKO-recognized equivalent training
- FMH specialist title in cardiology with a focus on interventional cardiology
- Several years of leadership experience in national and/or international university centers
- Proven clinical expertise in the entire spectrum of interventional and structural cardiology
- Habilitation
- Proven ability for structural and strategic development of clinics
- Very good knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system and good networking in Switzerland
- Strong social skills, teamwork, communication skills, and commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration
- Integrative leadership personality who involves the existing team and further develops it together with us
- Enjoyment in promoting young talent
- Interest in innovation, research, and teaching as well as willingness to sustainably further develop the clinic
- Long-term anchoring in the region desired / regional ties advantageous
- Very good German skills, additional national language advantageous
