Your role and responsibilities:
You are responsible for the sales of products from the areas of electrification, low voltage, and control in the field of automation and mechanical engineering for the Swiss OEM market. The goal is to increase sales volume and margins. You report directly to the Head of Sales OEM Electrification and use your expertise to build sustainable customer relationships through excellent service.

Your main tasks:
As the person responsible for sales activities, you manage existing customer relationships, acquire new customers, and work closely with marketing, technical support, and the sales team. Together, sales strategies are developed and market potentials are specifically identified.
Using your in-depth knowledge of customer applications and ABB solutions, you specifically address customer needs – with a special focus on digitalization, Industry 4.0, and energy efficiency – while ensuring technical and financial precision.
In close cooperation with our distribution partners, you actively shape the customer journey and ensure careful maintenance of customer data in the CRM system (Salesforce).
You keep your technical know-how up to date, follow relevant market trends, and apply various sales methods – including value-based selling – to ensure sustainable business success.
Qualifications for the role:
At least 3 years of experience in technical sales.
Solid technical knowledge in the field of low voltage products and good knowledge of the Swiss industry and automation.
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce); knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, as well as a solution-oriented and collaborative working style.
Very good communication skills in German and English; French skills are a plus.
Technical education, ideally a bachelor's degree in automation, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
Swiss driver's license and work permit in Switzerland.
