Portrait of the School/Institution
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a speech therapist. We are a diverse, decentralised primary school with 7 kindergartens, 20 regular classes and 2 classes for special support (KbF). In the total of 29 classes, around 540 pupils are taught by 65 teachers.

Tasks
As a speech therapist, you will work at the Schönau school site.
Your tasks include:
- Clarification of support or therapy needs (assessment and diagnostics)
- Speech therapy support (individual therapy and small group work)
- Advising parents and teachers
- Interdisciplinary collaboration within the scope of the professional mandate
- Regular professional exchange among the speech therapists of the city of Thun
You can count on the support and help of colleagues.
The maternity cover is expected to start mid-November 26 and will transition into a permanent position after the maternity leave.
Requirements
You have a recognised diploma or bachelor’s degree in speech therapy or are in training to become a speech therapist. Additionally, you enjoy working with children from cycles 1 and 2.

Two experienced, motivated speech therapists look forward to expanding the team.
Of the 18 lessons, you will also accompany some children with special school status in individual lessons.
