Your tasks
You move in a scientific environment with employees from many different nations and contacts worldwide. Commercial employees devote themselves to demanding administrative tasks and possess a wide range of skills and expertise. At the pulse of research, you support science and technology. In the commercial apprenticeship at Empa, you gain insight into practically all areas of commercial work and thus have the opportunity to acquire diverse knowledge. According to a plan, you will be rotated through various departments. Motivated and professionally qualified trainers support you everywhere. This way, at the end of your apprenticeship, you will have a broad basic knowledge on which you can build in any specialised field.
Your profile
- Completed secondary level A with good grades
- Enjoyment of languages and contact with people
- A flair for numbers
- Interest in modern communication tools and business processes
- Willingness to perform, independence, creativity, flexibility and networked thinking
- Mastery of the 10-finger system (attendance of a keyboard typing course before the start of the apprenticeship)
