As a Network Switching Technician in the Network Operations Planning team, you make an important contribution to the security of supply for the city of Winterthur and, together with your team, ensure reliable network operation in the fields of electricity and telecommunications. A varied range of tasks awaits you.Your tasks
- Professional execution of switching operations in low, medium and high voltage networks as well as commissioning of lines, house connections, transformers, transformer stations and substations
- Fault rectification, systematic fault localisation as well as organisation and implementation of immediate measures to quickly restore the energy supply
- Carrying out load and quality measurements in the distribution network as well as in customer installations
- Support with network surveys and creation of provisional connections for construction sites and events
- Introduction, support and professional training of new employees in the area of on-call duty and network switching
Your profile
- Completed training as a network electrician EFZ or electrical installer EFZ or equivalent
- Professional experience in network operation, fault service or a comparable environment is an advantage
- Calm, structured and safety-conscious working even in demanding situations
- Independent, team-oriented and flexible personality with a high sense of responsibility
- Driving licence category B as well as willingness for on-call and irregular deployments
