About the job
The Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn specialises in the education and care of children and young people with cognitive and/or multiple impairments.
For our night duty team, we are looking for you as a qualified nurse (HF) immediately or by arrangement. The position is limited to 6 months – with the option of extension.
Your Tasks
- Comprehensive care, support and safeguarding of children and young people with intellectual and/or multiple disabilities as well as autism spectrum disorders and psychological impairments
- Monitoring and caring for children and young people, incorporating their educational planning
- Administering medication as prescribed
- Maintaining documentation and providing oral & written reports to ensure a smooth transition between night and day shifts
- Responsible in emergency situations and fire alarms during the night
- Participation in team meetings and internal training
Your Profile
- Completed training as a qualified nurse (HF)
- Experience in supporting children and young people with cognitive impairments
- Enjoyment in dealing with complex care tasks, challenges and crises
- Skilled in responding to emergency situations
- Motivation and experience in night work
- Resilient, innovative personality as well as a healthy sense of humour
