Automobile mechatronics technicians perform system tests on commercial vehicles with internal combustion engines and alternative drive concepts, as well as diagnostic work on mechatronic systems. They also carry out maintenance and repair work on the vehicle systems. These systems include chassis, engine, and drive, as well as electrical, electronic, comfort, and safety systems. For commercial vehicles, additional checks and programming of compressed air systems are carried out, as well as diagnostics of trailer steering systems and air suspension systems.Requirements
