Job Description
In this exciting role, you will significantly contribute as a member of the international Business Unit Controlling team to managing the global abrasives business of the Bosch Group.
- You are continuously responsible as a Business Partner for a sub-area of the Product Area and act as a sparring partner for management, various leadership levels, international business units, and central controlling.
- Together with your team, you coordinate and support the global units in annual planning, rolling forecasts, and monthly reporting, ensuring controlling performance.
- You derive targets, continuously analyze and evaluate business development, communicate noticeable business risks, develop necessary actions from these, and ensure transparent tracking of measures at various levels.
- For projects/investments, you assess profitability, prepare special evaluations, and influence management decisions to further optimize the abrasives business.
- You support the Business Unit management in long-term planning, taking strategic measures into account.
- Further development and simplification of controlling processes and tools also belong to your responsibilities. Your ideas are highly sought after in identifying digitization and automation potentials.
Qualifications
- Education: Completed university degree with a commercial focus
- Experience and know-how: Experience in controlling in an internationally operating company, preferably in an industrial environment
- Personality: Flexible and adaptable team player with a positive attitude and the will to drive things forward
- Working style: Communicative and goal-oriented, strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, structured and independent working style, high consulting competence as well as assertiveness
- Qualification: Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel, experience with databases and reporting tools
- Languages: Business fluent English, good German skills
