Your Tasks
For our clinical pharmacy team consisting of five other clinical pharmacists, we are looking for a colleague for a permanent position as well as for a maternity cover until the end of August 2026. You support the optimal and safe medication therapy of the patients of KSA through the following activities: Medication Review as part of the interprofessional visits in the field of medicine and surgery; answering clinical-pharmaceutical consultations and participating in the drug information service; processing safety reports from the in-house electronic tool for detecting potential medication-related problems; collecting/checking the best possible medication history for surgical patients; participating in the processing of pharmacovigilance reports and the continuous improvement of medication safety at KSA. This also includes participation in the medication master data management of the clinical information systems (KIS) and the creation and updating of prescription sets in KIS. Participation in interprofessional commissions and projects, training for various professional groups, mentoring of trainees in hospital and clinical pharmacy, as well as supervising pharmacy interns (including Master's theses if interested) round off your interesting and diverse tasks in the Clinical Pharmacy of KSA. In addition to these tasks, you participate approximately three times a year in the on-call service of the hospital pharmacy.
Your Profile
You hold a federal pharmacist diploma (or a recognized foreign diploma) as well as a FPH certificate in clinical pharmacy or an equivalent foreign qualification, or a specialist pharmacist title in hospital pharmacy and experience in clinical-pharmaceutical tasks. You bring great joy to interdisciplinary collaboration and possess good communication skills in German, both written and spoken.
