Our Emergency Medicine Center plays a central role in the care of surgical patients from the region. In our state-of-the-art emergency department and the attached emergency practice, we treat over 30,000 emergency patients annually. We work closely and interprofessionally with our colleagues from Internal Medicine.

Here you will be involved
- in the entire spectrum of clinical emergency medicine with a surgical focus
- in the care and treatment of surgical emergency patients
- in the supervision and training of the assistant doctors in our specialist clinics
- in close collaboration with all specialists of the follow-up clinics and maintaining interdisciplinary exchange with colleagues of the medical emergency center
- in expanding your professional spectrum through above-average training opportunities
- in the opportunity to obtain the POCUS certificate
You
- hold the Swiss Federal or a Swiss-recognized specialist diploma in surgery, orthopedics, anesthesia, or internal medicine (with in-depth experience & knowledge in general surgery)
- are in possession of the Interdisciplinary Focus Clinical Emergency Medicine SGNOR or are on the way to it, desirable
- have completed the ATLS course and have experience in bedside sonography
- have clinical knowledge and experience in dealing with surgical emergency and shock room situations
- enjoy a versatile role in an exciting environment
- are willing to work in shifts without night duties, considering a balanced work-life balance
