Steinauer AG Recycling & Environmental Services invests in a mobile baler from TOEL

The innovative and sustainable company Steinauer AG Recycling & Environmental Services, based in the canton of Schwyz, operates one of the most modern recycling centers in Switzerland. To be even closer to customers, another collection point was established in Lachen/SZ. A baler with a conveyor belt was planned for compressing cardboard, foil, aluminum cans, and plastic collection bags.

Following our recommendation, the customer decided to invest in an Abba 600 V5. This compact, efficient mobile baler takes up significantly less space than a baler with a conveyor belt and is also extremely attractive in price for that reason.

Equipment

The ALBAMAT 600 V5 with a 30 kW motor can be operated on a 63 A power connection. To have enough space for the extra-large hopper, the hydraulics were positioned on the press channel. It features a special program to process aluminum cans, a hydraulic needle closure to compress plastic small parts without interruption, a remote control, a soft starter, and a status lamp indicating whether the press is ready for operation.

The following options were included: 2 colors of choice, free pusher, oil cooler, light barrier in the shaft, tank and control cabinet heating, 10 programs for different materials, starter set for binding, hydraulic oil, receiving hook, and 2 discharge rollers, as well as a floor slider that reduces the degree of contamination from fine materials and thus ensures a smooth binding process, especially with splintering and small-sized materials.

Steinauer AG Recycling & Environmental Services has been operating the Abba 600 V5 since March 1, 2021. The customer appreciates the efficient further processing of cardboard and the space-saving storage of bales (up to 6 times stackable). The separately purchased electric pneumatic loader is an ideal complement to the mobile baler and facilitates various tasks with different recyclable materials.
