In Orpund (approx. 3200 inhabitants), around 290 children are taught in 11 primary classes and 4 kindergartens by a motivated team of around 60 teachers. The school building is located in a preferred green area near the forest. We are a suburban community of Biel, which is quickly accessible by bus.

You don’t just want to teach, but also engage, inspire, and empower young people? You are right with us! For our two 3rd/4th grade classes, we are looking for a committed teacher who enjoys accompanying children on their path to independent thinking and acting.
Workload: 14 lessons as a part-time teacher. Working hours: Monday whole day (7 lessons), Tuesday morning (4 lessons), Friday morning (3 lessons). Employment start 01 February 2026 until 31 July 2026. Close cooperation with class teachers and the special education team. Subjects: French 4th grade, Art, Music, Sports, German, NMG (Nature, Man, Society).
