Loader or Spotter in Waste Disposal Logistics (80-100 %) excl. Winter Service (m/f/d) - Lucerne Region

You enjoy working outdoors, are physically fit and ready to lend a helping hand? Then this position in waste disposal logistics and waste management is just right for you. Career changers from construction, horticulture, civil engineering, recycling, logistics or the moving industry are also welcome.
  • Collecting and properly loading refuse and recyclable materials
  • Loading the refuse vehicle with green waste, paper, cardboard and other types of waste
  • Safe operation of the tipping device
  • Checking the provided waste and containers
  • Securing the collection vehicle in road traffic
  • Supporting the driver during reversing and difficult manoeuvres
  • Cleaning and simple maintenance of the refuse vehicle
  • Cleaning and maintenance of collection points
  • General work in the depot
  • Assisting with cardboard processing and other disposal tasks
  • Compliance with SUVA regulations and safety guidelines
  • Work starts from approx. 06:00 hrs



    • We expect:
  • Good spoken German skills, at least level B1
  • Physical fitness and resilience
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • No health restrictions for physical activities
  • Ability to walk longer distances daily
  • Willingness to regularly lift and carry loads of up to approx. 25 kg
  • Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious working style
  • Team spirit, motivation and friendly manners
  • Sense of responsibility and careful working method
  • Respectful interaction with people of different origins and cultures
  • Manual skills and technical understanding
  • Driving licence category B and own vehicle advantageous
  • Forklift licence or experience with machines and equipment advantageous


    • Professional experience in one of the following areas is an advantage:
  • Waste disposal logistics or refuse collection
  • Depot or road maintenance
  • Recycling or waste management
  • Main construction trade or civil engineering
  • Horticulture and landscaping
  • Warehouse or logistics
  • Moving industry
