For the Quality Assurance department at our modern production site in St. Gallen, we are looking for a motivated

Metrology Specialist

In your position as Metrology Specialist, you are responsible for the timely calibration, adjustment, and release of test equipment for production, analytics, and storage of pharmaceutical

active ingredients in close cooperation with the respective departments. You also ensure that only qualified test equipment that meets the requirements is in operation at all times and either perform these yourself or support them.

Your tasks essentially include:

• Control/release of testing and maintenance of test equipment for the Quality Control, Development departments, and all IPK test equipment of the Production department under the Quality Control department

• Management of test equipment and reagents in the test equipment database LIMS

• Creation and safeguarding of test equipment documentation (e.g., device folders, qualification documents, logbooks)

• Preparation of area-specific deviation reports and handling of such as a QA instance

• Compliance with GMP guidelines in the work area

• Participation in the procurement of new devices

• Creation of regulations in the area of test equipment monitoring, maintenance, and servicing of devices

• QA role in the qualification of laboratory devices

• Planning and organization of test equipment-specific training programs

• Administration of computer-assisted test equipment, especially user management and data backups

You bring the following qualifications and professional experience:

• Technical training or chemical laboratory technician with further education according to the requirement profile

• Interest and technical understanding of analytical devices and media systems

• Professional experience in GMP, pharmaceutical, or food sectors

• Affinity for technology and IT

• Experience with measurement technology

• Teamwork skills

• Resilience

• Independence

• Communicative
