ACCOUNTING MANAGER AT 60%

Contract duration: Permanent contract
Work rate: 60%
Workplace: UNIL-Mouline district - Géopolis Building - 1015 Lausanne
Your Activities
You will directly support the Finance Deputy, benefiting from a transversal overview of all the accounts of the Faculty's institutes. You will work in a stimulating environment, managing both the State budget and external research funds spread across 5 units.
Your main tasks:
- assist the Finance Deputy in managing, regularly monitoring, and analysing the budgets and costs of the Faculty and its institutes;
- independently handle routine accounting operations, including processing invoices, expense claims, internal recharges, as well as payroll control;
- advise and support the secretariats of the four institutes as a technical referent to answer their financial questions and support their projections;
- optimise internal processes by being proactive and drafting financial documentation as well as working documents;
- collaborate in the smooth running of the secretariat and engage with the team, alternating in logistics and supervision during the three exam sessions.
Your Profile
To complete our team, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
- holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in administration/commerce (or equivalent), necessarily complemented by training in accounting or budget management.
- you have at least 5 years of experience in accounting/finance, ideally in a public or academic institution;
- you have excellent command of Excel (and the Office suite), and are very comfortable with financial ERP systems (knowledge of SAP is a major asset);
- you have excellent command of French (spoken and written) as well as a good understanding of English (minimum B2 level);
- known for your rigour, proactivity, and summarising skills, you have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of teamwork while being able to work independently.
