About the job
From 1 January 2027, we are looking for a
Care and Domestic Staff, 60 %
CONTACT Thun is a service for adults who consume psychoactive substances (e.g. heroin or cocaine). In addition to the distribution, exchange and disposal of hygienic supplies, we offer daily structure, maintenance of social contacts, minor health services, support with administrative matters, advice and assistance with practical life and psychosocial issues.
- Accompanying and caring for clients
- Assisting with group activities and leisure offerings
- Syringe exchange and distribution of consumption materials
- Working in the bistro
- Administrative tasks, record keeping in SocialOffice
- Participation and contribution to team meetings, case discussions, intervision and supervision, special events as well as theme- and client-related projects
- Taking over the domestic department, especially in cleaning and cooking according to the department description
- Information and exchange with networking partners, as well as within CONTACT
- Experience working with people in special life situations is an advantage
- Experience in domestic work (especially cleaning and kitchen)
- High social competence
- Open, appreciative and respectful interaction with others
- Independent, reliable and responsible working style
- Team spirit, flexibility and resilience
- Progressive employment and working conditions according to the collective labour agreement
- Salary according to cantonal guidelines
- Work in a small team
- Working days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday / flexible working hours in the afternoon
- No weekend work
- 10 minutes’ walk from Thun station
