For over 50 years, our international guests have been indulging in exotic drinks and Eurasian culinary delights at our world-famous Polynesian specialty restaurant Trader Vic's. To offer our guests the highest quality, we are looking to strengthen our kitchen team as soon as possible.
As part of your duties, you will perform the following tasks:- active participation in planning, monitoring, and achieving the budget
- ensuring and monitoring the quantitative and qualitative staffing levels: responsibility for the duty and vacation planning of all employees
- motivating leadership of the entire service team, taking into account the established leadership principles. Ensuring and increasing service quality through the implementation of qualification measures for employees.
- actively fulfilling the host role towards our guests, as well as receiving and resolving complaints.
- performing administrative tasks, such as managing and maintaining the guest file and handling reservations.
- planning, preparing, and conducting the standard daily business and ensuring smooth operations
- ensuring correct billing, maintaining the cash book, and depositing cash
- controlling inventory and compliance with legal hygiene regulations (HACCP)
- monitoring and ensuring quality standards throughout the restaurant area
- successfully completed vocational training as a restaurant specialist or comparable qualification
- several years of professional experience in upscale hospitality or gastronomy as well as initial leadership experience
- strong business acumen
- proficiency in common software programs such as MS Office
- very good German and English skills, additional foreign language is an advantage
