We are looking for a
Senior Electrical Machine Engineer 100% (m/f/d)
for the Mechatronics department. We are addressing this position to an experienced technician with several years of experience in mechanical engineering in intralogistics or the machinery industry. You possess very good communication skills, are enthusiastic, and maintain an overview in hectic times. You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary environment and are motivated to advance our company through your independent and high-quality work style.
What you will achieve with us
- Technical responsibility and implementation of development projects in Mechatronic Engineering Electric – in close coordination with mechanics, PLC software group, planning, and manufacturing
- Technical support for sales and aftersales in project sales and follow-up
- Technical meetings with project managers, manufacturing, and suppliers
- Preparation of series schemas, drawings, and parts lists in Engineering Base, CATIA V5, and PLM for electrical equipment, controls, and assemblies for CE and UL space
- Compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines
- Specification and coordination of additional developments
- Creation of customer-specific electrical equipment and assemblies in coordination with the
- System Engineering Electric
- Creation of templates (Typical) - projects in Engineering Base
- Short-term support of System Engineering Electric in large plant projects
- Technical support for commissioning technicians
- Participation in processes and development of concepts in close collaboration with
- System Engineering Electric, product managers, PLC software group, production, planning,
- customers, and suppliers
- Support in the evaluation of electrical components
- Design and verification of safety functions according to risk assessment according to EN ISO 13849-1 and/or EN IEC 62061
What you bring with you
- Completed vocational training with EFZ as an automation technician, electrician, or in a related field with further training as an electrical engineer HF/TS or equivalent professional experience
- Construction experience in machine or plant engineering
- Good CAD/CAE knowledge, ideally in CATIA V5 and Engineering Base
- Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
- Good English skills in spoken and written (level B1), additional foreign languages are an advantage
- Good German skills in spoken and written (min. level C1)
- Conscientious, resilient, flexible, and reliable work style
- MTR UL508 certification is an advantage
