As a Software Engineer you will be an integral member of a passionate team at the forefront of automating biological cell processing. You will be responsible for improving the existing product portfolio in strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders by driving the design of a new solution through requirements elicitation and management, ensuring traceability, and generating proper documentation consistent with our quality management requirements.

Description

  • Develop and debug software code, design unit tests
  • Participate in development and improvement of existing products following our QMS
  • Provide support in all stages of the SDLC (requirements analysis, design, implementation, reviews, unit and integration testing, documentation, V&V)
  • Write and maintain code for applications in high level language (XML) translating a manufacturing process into machine instructions
  • Work closely with other engineers (i.e. electrical, mechanical, software, material)
  • Ensure compliance with ISO13485 or ISO9001 standards and other QMS requirements
  • Implementation of the new functionality and supporting documentation

Profile

  • University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Strong knowledge of C#. C/C++ is a plus
  • Interest and experience with software and hardware integration
  • Knowledge and previous experience in any markup language (e.g. XML, TeX, HTML) is a plus
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Customer-oriented mindset, autonomous at work, good problem solving skills
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus
