Your role and responsibilities

As Logistics Process & Regulations Specialist you ensure that logistics requirements and regulations are complied in ABB logistics processes at site Turgi and that stock takes are executed in compliance with regulations, company’s guidelines and procedures. Furthermore you drive and support process improvements and projects in the fields of logistics.You will be mainly accountable for:•Ensure compliance of logistics requirements and regulations for storage, handling and packaging of goods ABB internally and at 3PL locations (e.g. dangerous goods, ADR / ICAO / IMDG)•Coordinate and implement new logistics requirements / regulations in ABB logistics processes•Coordinate stock takes for the Business Area "Motion Switzerland" incl. interface to auditing company•Process ownership for all ABB CH stock takes•Execute SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley-Act) controls in logistics (e.g. goods receipt) •Ensure actuality of logistics process documentations within ABB's Management SystemAdditional Responsibilities•Lead CIP process developments within logistics•Support business projects at ABB site Turgi and represent the logistics department•Strengthen collaboration between businesses and logistics•Support in daily business operations / interface to 3PLs

Qualifications for the role

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in logistics / supply chain management or comparable.
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Basic knowledge of logistics regulations
  • Fluent spoken and written in German and English
  • Proficient IT knowledge with focus on MS Office applications and SAP applications
  • Project and Process Mgmt skills preferable
