Team Coordinator Product Management Bellows, m/w (100%)

Embracing the role of Team Coordinator at VAT represents an integral step in advancing one's career development, fostering the acquisition of comprehensive technical, functional, and leadership skills. As a Team Coordinator, you will shoulder the functional responsibilities within the Bellows Product Management team.

Your role in the Bellows product marketing strategy execution will be pivotal. This involves contributing to the creation and implementation of the Bellows product portfolio roadmap. Additionally, you will play a crucial part in steering the success of the Bellows team by overseeing business and administrative tasks, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring efficient communication across the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:


YOUR CHALLENGES

Team Support:

  • Provide comprehensive assistance to team members, offering administrative support, managing calendars (including deputy roles for PTO/sick-leaves), coordinating team events, and facilitating personal development through general team alignments.

Communication:

  • Act as a facilitator, ensuring seamless communication within the team and across various departments (e.g., Engineering team, OPS teams including PLCSM, Q, Category Management, Sales Forecasting, Stock Obsolescence Management, Corporate R&D). This includes fostering effective information flow and collaboration.

Task Allocation:

  • Define business goals and distribute tasks and projects among team members based on their strengths, workload, and priorities. Maintaining a balance in work allocation is crucial for timely project completion.

Workflow Management:

  • Oversee the team's workflow, guaranteeing the achievement of deadlines and business objectives. This involves closely monitoring project progress, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks, and taking corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Coordinating Customer Escalation Handling:

  • Provide crucial support in addressing escalated customer complaints or issues. This includes ensuring prompt and effective involvement of relevant personnel or departments and facilitating interdepartmental collaboration to resolve escalated concerns.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Aid in tracking primary business objectives and BU KPIs, such as DarWins initiatives, SpecWins, and the localization program. Additionally, assist in competitive landscape assessments, including competitor analyses.

Training and Onboarding:

  • Play a vital role in the onboarding process for new team members, providing necessary information, guiding them through protocols, and facilitating their seamless integration into the team.

Performance Evaluation:

  • Contribute to evaluating team members' performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their effectiveness and growth.

Product Management:

  • Own the responsibility for VATs outstanding Bellows product series, serve solutions to high-end applications like UHV systems, large R&D projects, synchrotrons, quantum computing and fusion energy.
  • Manage your Bellows product life cycle during all phases (ideation, business case, product development, pricing, cost and supplier control, phase-in, training, marketing documentation, improvement, customization, phase-out).
  • Own the interface to sales teams and customers for all technical aspects in defined markets.
  • Coordinate simultaneous developments of multiple product solutions and values according to customer requests and product roadmap.
  • Monitor and optimize profitability of product lines and regions. Implement value propositions.
  • Cooperate with all BU’s of VAT to take advantage of synergies in product offering to ADV customers.
  • Identify market trends and technical roadmaps of customers to derive needs for adaptation of VAT’s product offering.
  • Support the sales entities of VAT group in product training, customer acquisition, product presentations and negotiations.
  • Establish technical customer documentation like manuals and product data sheets according to applicable regulatory requirements.

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • Degree in science or engineering. A good know how of mechanical and electrical systems and/or vacuum experience preferred.
  • Additional degree in economics and / or marketing or successful record of accomplishment in a commercial position.
  • Ability to drive x-functional teams from sales to engineering to supply chain.
  • Experience in product management within the vacuum industry.
  • Strong Experience in managing international customers and projects on a global scale.
  • Strong entrepreneurship and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to identify market developments and derive requirements that influence the future valve business.
  • Fluent in English, ability to negotiate in speaking and writing. Fluency in German is of advantage.
