Your work will focus on enabling the integration of environmental footprint data into decision making and support the transition towards environmental sustainability.

Required profile:

Ideally, you bring experience in embedding LCA methodologies into the standard ways of working of a research-driven company e.g., building automated climate impact accounting systems, assessing product carbon footprints, and providing support to decision-makers not yet familiar with sustainability concepts. You enjoy digging into data and bring an understanding of engineering concepts and natural sciences. Ideally, you have experience of working as or alongside chemists & chemical engineers doing late stage- development into manufacturing. You enjoy taking an active role in shaping our future ways of working and bring a hands-on and can-do approach to any task. You are a team player, comfortable working in matrix organizations, and are good at sharing concepts and content in a tailored way that enables and empowers a wide array of stakeholders to make informed strategic, tactical and operational choices.

What we offer:

In return, you will become a crucial member of our team, and will be part of actively shaping a field of great importance for Syngenta going forwards. Your work will make a tangible difference and contribute directly towards achieving our climate commitments.
• We offer a position which contributes to valuable and impactful work in a dynamic, stimulating, and international environment.
• A superb working environment with an open culture and diverse workforce where new perspectives and ideas are highly valued.
• The opportunity to work with and learn from highly qualified and experienced employees and develop your scientific and technical skills.
• An enormous variety of career perspectives, all over the world, in many different functions
• A learning culture to support your continued professional development.
• You will profit from a competitive pension fund plan, annual bonuses, on-site doctor, fitness room, canteen, and other benefits (family-friendly initiatives, child and family allowance…).

Interested? We look forward to receiving your online application including all relevant documents (cover letter, CV, diploma, certificates).
