Missions

You assist the Head of PPVM with DTI budget control and governance and you assist the Head of PPVM with the definition and implementation of DTI's Vendor Management strategy.

Main responsibilities

The Responsible Person shall be working alongside the Head of PPVM, and shall perform, amongst other things, the below detailed activities:

Vendor Management

  • Assist the Head of PPVM with the definition and implementation of DTI's Vendor Management strategy.
  • Define and communicate key drivers and priorities while involving key stakeholders of DTI and others by identifying and listing all requirements, contribute to elaboration of RFI/RFQ/RFP and subsequent governance (evaluation of vendors proposal).
  • Contribute to implementation and formalisation of preferred vendors, starting by identification and selection, followed by supporting and contributing to defining contractual engagements, ending with process adoption and communication.
  • Lead the categorisation and mapping of all DTI's vendors and services.
  • Create and Maintain the category cards for every stakeholders to access.
  • Lead DTI's cost reduction and avoidance efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
  • Support process and implementation of vendor/service performance monitoring and optimisation.

Budget and Financial control

  • Assist the Head of PPVM for the end to end budget process for all DTI units: yearly budget, latest estimates and revision, multi-year financial and programme planning.
  • Establish and communicate guidelines with all DTI stakeholders.
  • Consolidate and report financial data for arbitration with DTI and non DTI stakeholders: head of business units and executives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and for cost control/containment (software licenses, professional and managed services, etc.).
  • Support DTI stakeholders for every topic pertaining to technology financial control and optimisation: support in market analysis and benchmark, support in the procurement chain: from technology acquisition to service provider selection.
  • Propose and implement new process for better cost control and monitoring: from monthly forecast to yearly projections.
  • Provide analytics, reports and KPIs for tracking of financial performance.

Profil du candidat

  • University studies in computer science and higher education or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience leading / coordinating solution delivery, financial, vendor management and/or technology portfolio management.
  • At least 5 years of strong management or project lead experience required.
  • Experience in onshore/offshore model for project delivery.
  • Fluency in English, with very good command of French is a plus.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging technologies preferred.
  • Management of project pertaining to software acquisition, compliance, maintenance renewals, life cycle planning and costing is a plus
  • Ability to triage issues across multiple systems and drive technical issues to resolution.
  • Adaptable and able to prioritise and manage risks.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
