The Position

Global External Manufacturing is responsible to supply in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) single-use consumables and devices. With over a decade of experience, we manage meanwhile more than 170 products (pipette tips, reaction vessels for PCR or immunological reactions, cuvettes, etc.) from early development until phase-out together with our internal and external partners. We are looking for a structured and passionate Assistant for the Head of Global Operations Consumables.

Career Opportunities

• Provide proactive admin support for the Head of Global Operations Consumables

• Assist COLT (Consumables Operations Leadership Team) in all administrative and logistical aspects

• Collaborate closely and represent GOC (Global Operations Consumables) Relation Manager and GOC Business Support Leader

• Support supervisor in maintaining unrestricted, regular cooperation with suppliers

• Plan and execute internal/external meetings, managing logistics and related tasks

• Assist GOC Relation Manager in planning and implementing town halls and events

• Organize annual leadership team meetings, update organizational charts.

• Manage logistics for COLT Leadership Team meetings, including travel planning and expense reports. Handle office equipment orders, supplies, JAZ requests, internal payments, and invoices. Collaborate with administration at the Rotkreuz site and provide advisory support on transformational matters. Build a functional network for optimal administrative support and foster positive relationships within the organization and at the Rotkreuz location

Qualifications & Experience

• Commercial education required. Training in the direction of management assistance is an advantage

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English and German

• Strong organization and planning skills; ability to handle multiple tasks at one time while keeping oversight and prioritize independently

• Advanced computer skills including experience with Google application tools

• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and be a self-starter

• Proven reliability in terms of quality and timelines and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
