Our department - the R&D Competence Center Vascular Intervention - develops and characterizes components for our growing product portfolio.

Your Responsibilities
• Develop and/or optimize existing drug-containing formulations for medical devices (i.e., Class III combination products)
• Develop, optimize, and validate methods to characterize drug coatings
• Conduct physical analysis (e.g., coating integrity) of drug-coated medical devices
• Collaborate closely with the prototyping team for R&D sample manufacturing and testing
• Support selected projects as a subject matter expert
• Prepare work instructions, technical reports, and validation reports

Your Profile
• Degree in engineering or natural sciences (e.g., Chemistry, Bio-engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.)
• Work experience with analytical method development
• Willingness to work hands-on and in pragramatic way in the laboratory
• Self-starter with a structured and "can do" personality
• Ability to drive own's discipline in a global matrix organization
• Experience in regulated environments preferred (e.g., medical device, pharmaceutical)
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
