As a Middle Office Specialist, you will ensure the smooth operation and oversight of financial accounts, manage transaction processing, and maintain accurate investment records. This role requires a high level of autonomy, precision, and familiarity with investment instruments, making it ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a proactive and structured approach.

Description
Responsibilities:

Account Oversight:
- Oversee all account activities, including data entry and verification of financial flows (incoming and outgoing), classification, and regular updates of all asset databases within portfolios.
- Manage investment-related events, such as corporate actions and ad-hoc events, and interact with financial institutions when necessary (e.g., for information requests, error corrections).

Transaction Management:
- Handle all transaction verifications, data entry, and instruction details for interbank operations (internal databases and banking platforms).
- Ensure the complete settlement cycle for investment transactions, along with position and cash reconciliation.

Reporting and Reconciliation:
- Prepare monthly portfolio valuation and asset reconciliation reports, ensuring consistency and investigating any significant discrepancies.
- Generate periodic reports summarizing investment activity and performance.

Database and Record Maintenance:
- Update and maintain investment activity and performance databases.
- Keep structured, up-to-date records for all investment files, ensuring timely access to information.

Process Improvement Projects:
- Initiate, lead, and manage projects aimed at optimizing support processes for investment activities.
Profile
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in French and English (minimum B2 level).
- Key Attributes:

- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Efficiency and comfort with numerical data
- Proactivity and structured, process-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and writing skills in both French and English
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in financial instruments (equities, bonds, funds, hedge funds, etc.)
- Proficiency with Windows tools; familiarity with Bloomberg and IT/programming skills is a strong plus.
- Ability to interact with external counterparts and suggest improvements
