Geti Trade is a small-sized independent food trading & service company founded in 1994. We are mostly active in dairy, cocoa products and other food ingredients focusing on North and West Africa.

Our office is based in Mies (close to Geneva).

We are looking for a dynamic and hand-on operator with strong interest for food products and Africa to join a growing business.

The Job

• Handling and operating transport of diary and cocoa commodities

• Vessel Shipment booking and rate negotiation + follow-up / Incoterms routing

• Documentation compliances (specifications, export/import regulations)

• Process letter of credits and bank remittance

• Follow-up goods arrival, discharge and local sales

• Payments and finance overview & follow-up

• Resolve possible disputes and claims

• Position statement based on exposure and risk

• Customer relationship – Order enquiry / inventory / SAV

• Hands-on and able to work under pressure

• Multi-tasking

• Proactive and challenge seeking, problem solver

• Well organized, meticulous and anticipating

• Culturally sensitive

• Sense of customer satisfaction

Knowledge & background

• Ideally previous experience in international operations, exportdocumentation, incoterm

Degree in business

• Experience in small/medium size company

• Advanced use of MS Office Suite (Excel in particular)

• Fluency in French and in English (both a must)

• UE permit, presence on site required (home office allowed up to 1 day per week after

notice period) – commute to office max 30 minutes

Will also be highly valued

• Spanish, or African language/dialect

• Exposure to Africa

• Agri commodities or logistics background

• Motorized
