Our Digital Solutions Team provides the digital solutions and IT services that support Innosuisse’s business processes and enable the digital handling of applications and related procedures. This includes internal solutions as well as digital platforms and tools used by applicants, innovation mentors, accredited coaches, experts, project partners and other external stakeholders to submit, process, assess and manage funding and support requests. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you ensure the secure, stable and standardized operation as well as the continuous further development of our Azure platform. Working closely with architecture, security, operations and external partners, you make a key contribution to the reliable and scalable provision of our digital services.
Your tasks:
- You operate and continuously develop our Azure platform – including the Azure Landing Zone, subscriptions, networks, private endpoints, DNS, Key Vaults and central platform services.
- You implement governance and security requirements on a technical level, in particular in the areas of Microsoft Entra ID, IAM, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, encryption and Zero Trust.
- You are responsible for monitoring, logging and alerting and you maintain operations documentation as well as operational standards.
- You support incidents, changes, migrations and disruptions in the Azure environment and ensure root-cause analysis, technical remediation and sustainable improvements.
- You develop automations and infrastructure as code using tools such as ARM, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI and CI/CD pipelines.
- You work closely with architecture, security, operations, application teams and external partners and provide support on topics such as resilience, backup, recovery, compliance and cost optimisation
Our requirements:
- You have a degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and have several years of practical experience in operating and securing cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. Additional training or certifications in Azure administration, Azure security or cloud operations (e.g. Azure Administrator or Azure Security Engineer) are an advantage.
- You have a sound understanding of secure, stable and standardised platform operating models on Azure and in-depth knowledge in the areas of cloud operations, Azure security, identity & access management, networking, monitoring and technical operations.
- Infrastructure as code, automation in the Azure environment and the use of Azure DevOps, Git and modern CI/CD pipelines are part of your day-to-day work, and you are able to identify and assess technical risks and derive pragmatic measures to improve security, stability and operability.
- You work independently, in a structured and reliable manner and are able to document technical interrelationships in a comprehensible way and explain them clearly to different stakeholder groups.
- You think analytically and in a networked way, act responsibly and solution-oriented and have a strong awareness of data protection and information security. You communicate confidently in German (C1) and have good English skills in a technical context.
