Mission

Main duties and responsibilities

• Working and collaborating on research projects. The precise research topic(s) will be discussed with the successful candidate depending on their background, expertise and affinities.
• Analysis and publication of results
• Build a strong network in the field of research
• Participate in education, and PhD and master student supervision

Profile

• PhD in microbiology, infection biology, or a related discipline
• Solid expertise in microbial genetics, host-pathogen interactions, biochemistry or antimicrobial mechanisms
• Interest or experience in quantitative approaches such as microscopy, image analysis, microfluidics or engineering- based methods
• Comfortable working across disciplines and contributing to both experimental and conceptual innovation
