Senior Ferro Alloys Metal Trader

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Metals Trader with deep expertise in ferroalloys.

The ideal candidate will have 1) a strong track record of profitable sales to, and 2) established relationships with major Asian ferroalloys users, and 3) proven experience in new market development.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute trading strategies for ferroalloys (e.g., Mn, Mo, and Cr).

· Manage and expand new relationships with European and Asian stainless steel and ferroalloy clients.

· Identify and develop new market opportunities in Asia and globally.

· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability.

· Collaborate with operations, finance, and risk management teams to ensure smooth trade execution.

Requirements:

· Minimum 10 years of experience in trading manganese, molybdenum, and chromium ferroalloys.

· Proven track record of profitable sales, and established relationships with major Asian Ferroalloys users and stainless-steel mills, such as in Indonesia, and Korea.·

Demonstrated success in developing new markets and client networks.

· Fluency in English and at least one major Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese, Korean).

· Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills.

· Experience in chrome ore and/or iron ore trading is a plus.
