Laboratory Engineer with electronics experience

For one of our Clients in the Zurich area, we are seeking a Laboratory Engineer with electronics experience to support research, development, and testing activities in the fields of electronics, automotive radar, and optoelectronics.

General Information:
 

• Location: Zurich
• Contract: Temporary to permanent
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6-9 months, with the possibility of getting internalized 
• Working Hours: 100%
• Type of working: on-site (1-2 days/week Home -Office)

Responsibilities:

 

• Construction of Radar/HF Components (e.g. HF Bonding)

• Setup and commissioning of prototype systems in the field of HF/Radar

• Verification of functionality, troubleshooting, and optimization of individual modules up to the complete system

• Definition, execution, and documentation of inspections and tests
  
   

Skills and Qualifications:

 

• Degree in Engineering or Physics (e.g. High-Frequency Technology, Electrical Engineering, Measurement Technology)

• Prototype development, hardware rework, and system integration tasks

• Experience of working in a laboratory environment with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, network analysers, signal generators, and power supplies

• Good knowledge of analogue signal processing

• Experience with high-frequency measurement technology (spectrum analyser, oscilloscope, VNA

• Initial experience with optical devices or optical fibres is desirable
