 To support our IT team for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, we are looking for a:

Network & System Administrator

Purpose: To maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network in our organization. She/he must be able to install and configure computer networks and systems and identify and solve any problems that arise. 

She/he will also have to maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software. Additionally, She/he will apply and control technical measures in line with the Cyber Security strategy.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and servers.
• Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and security tools.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Manage and configure our different Public Cloud Services
• Monitor network performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure maximum uptime.
• Conduct regular system and network backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Maintain and review security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and antivirus software.
• Manage system updates and upgrades to ensure that systems are up to date and secure.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and guidelines.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network & System Administrator or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and server administration.
• Minimum 3 recent years actively working with Microsoft Cloud Services (Azure, Microsoft 365) or/and Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of Agile Project Management.
• Experience in currently used technologies SOPHOS (Firewalls), Kaspersky Security Center, Windows Server, SharePoint Server, SQL Server, Exchange Server, VMware, Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of Power Platform is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Operation technology (OT) is a plus.
• ITIL Certification.
• Microsoft Certification is a plus.
