Maintenance Lead

Description

• Lead all maintenance and inspection activities on storage tanks, ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and safety compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and subcontractors on tank?related work.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on all work permits for external providers.
• Monitor progress planning, daily reporting, and coordination of technical tasks.
• Review technical documents, procedures, methods, and execution plans for compliance.
• Organise and oversee cleaning, inspection, welding, piping, rotating equipment, coating, civil works, and instrumentation works.
• Manage co?activity risks and operational constraints while proposing effective solutions.
• Draft tender documents for painting and coating projects.
• Coordinate with HSE teams to ensure strict adherence to safety rules, work permits, lock?out/tag?out, safety analyses, and site regulations.
• Validate end?of?work documentation, including checklists and quality records.
• Oversee material and equipment deliveries and ensure final site cleanliness.
• Maintain continuous on?site presence during tank activities to monitor performance and resolve issues promptly.

Profile

• Technical diploma in industrial maintenance.
• Specialization in pressure equipment or petroleum assets is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience, ideally in oil & gas or major shutdown environments.
• Strong technical understanding of storage tanks/
• Proficiency in welding, NDT methods, sealing technologies, and inspection practices.
• Strong digital skills (ERP systems, MS Project).
• Ability to lead projects, troubleshoot site issues, and deliver solutions efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills in French; ability to interpret technical documentation in English.
• Experience working in SEVESO or other high?risk industrial environments.
• Knowledge of construction and inspection standards (API 653, EEMUA).
• Detail?oriented, autonomous, diplomatic, and capable of maintaining strong contractor relationships.
