Process Engineer - Milling Technology
As a Process Engineer in Milling Solutions, you will be at the heart of the global grain and food industry. You will commission state-of-the-art milling plants worldwide, experience different countries and cultures, collaborate closely with our customers, share your expertise through training, and make a direct contribution to ensuring that mills around the world operate efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
This is where you'll excel
- Following a comprehensive onboarding period, you will commission new milling plants worldwide and take pleasure in training our customers and their staff
- You will be responsible for the commissioning and handover of plants to customers around the world
- You will carry out inspections and maintenance work on existing plants and provide additional services, such as mill inspections, commissioning of individual machines, and consulting
- You will create detailed process flow diagrams in AutoCAD
- You will support the sales team and contribute to the preparation of quotations.
These are the skills you'll need
- Completed vocational training as a miller (process technologist in the milling and feed industry), supplemented by successful further education as a Master Miller or Technician at the German Milling School in Braunschweig or the Swiss School of Milling in St. Gallen
- Several years of experience in mill operations
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and a strong interest in automation
- Strong communication skills in German and English, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, combined with a strong customer- and service-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 60%)
