Organisation sans but lucratif et caisse de compensation reconnue par la loi, HOTELA est au service exclusif des membres de ses associations fondatrices, dont elle est le partenaire privilégié pour toutes les assurances sociales.

Elle fournit également des services complémentaires – gestion des absences, case management – et propose, par le biais de HOTELA Payroll Service, un service de gestion des salaires.

HOTELA se compose aujourd’hui de plus de 300 collaborateurs de 4 générations. L’entreprise peut également compter sur les compétences riches de collaborateurs expérimentés qui ont décidé de continuer à travailler pour l’entreprise, même après avoir atteint l’âge de la retraite règlementaire pour certains.

La majorité des collaborateurs sont basés dans le bâtiment principal de Montreux, à quelques pas seulement de la gare. Une équipe de conseillers clients est basée entre Zürich et Uzwil. Depuis janvier 2023, HOTELA possède également un nouveau bureau à Berne, et renforce ainsi la présence de ses équipes en Suisse allemande.

L’équilibre entre vie privée et professionnelle tient particulièrement à cœur de HOTELA. Les collaborateurs peuvent profiter d’un horaire variable, un horaire écourté la veille d’un jour férié, ainsi qu’un quota d’heures à disposition pour des rdv médicaux. Plus de 40% de nos collaborateurs exercent leur activité à temps partiel. Le home office est également possible une fois la formation et la période d’essai terminées. Deux pauses, le matin et l’après-midi, sont offertes par l’entreprise et comptent comme temps de travail. Les collaborateurs peuvent, durant ces moments, profiter du jardin ainsi que du café/thé mis gratuitement à disposition. Un congé maternité et paternité plus long que celui prévu par la loi fait aussi partie des avantages sociaux.

HOTELA est attentive au recyclage et met à disposition des containers pour les différentes matières à recycler. Un partenaire de la région (GreenTime) livre tous les jours des produits locaux, bio et de qualité afin que les collaborateurs puissent se servir un repas sain à un prix abordable au sein du frigo intelligent.

Une autre force de HOTELA est son système de formation en interne. Grâce à une équipe de formateurs, toute personne peut intégrer le domaine des assurances sociales, peu importe son niveau de connaissances. HOTELA soutient également la formation permettant d’obtenir le titre de Généraliste en assurances sociales (certificat) ou Spécialiste en assurances sociales (brevet fédéral) ainsi que d’autres formations continues. L’entreprise porte beaucoup d’attention à la formation de la relève et forme régulièrement des apprentis.

What works well?

This company offers the opportunity to have a good work-life balance. HOTELA offers many interesting benefits, including flexible hours, year-end vacation days, as well as two daily breaks, two cafeterias, an attractive pension plan, internal events, etc. Employees are really considered and you can feel it from the first email exchange, during the recruitment process,

What could be improved?

As everywhere, there is room for improvement. The interior layout, and in particular that of the cafeteria, could be reviewed.

What works well?

I've been working for HOTELA for over 5 years and I'm completely satisfied. On the whole, it's a great employer and ideal for my personal wishes (top-notch work-life balance, very collegial, humane working atmosphere, the line manager & HR department always listen and try to find solutions when needed, you feel appreciated and taken into account as an employee, etc.).

What could be improved?

I can only speak for myself. There are undoubtedly a few points for improvement, as there are everywhere (office furniture, cafeteria...). These points are already being improved and I don't consider them to be extremely important negative points. It's a plus for everyday comfort.

What works well?

I've been with Hotela for a few months now and I'm delighted. All my colleagues are lovely and so are the insured! There's a great family spirit and we're lucky enough to work in a splendid building in a beautiful city. It's the best.

What could be improved?

Some computer tools are a bit old-fashioned... but I've seen much worse! And modernization is under way.
