What works well?
Of the two time clocks available, only one is working properly, which may say a lot about the overall level of organization.
What could be improved?
My experience at Europ Assistance was particularly disappointing, especially when it came to management and internal organization. Management seemed to lack structure and proper leadership training. Some managers appeared to have been placed in managerial roles without the necessary tools or skills to effectively support their teams. Training programs are also very disorganized, with a lack of consistency and clarity that makes onboarding and settling into a new role unnecessarily difficult. The work environment is, in my opinion, another particularly problematic issue. The atmosphere I observed was very oppressive and not conducive to professional fulfillment, collaboration, or employee development. What struck me most was the contrast between the profile of the people the company seeks and the reality of how it operates internally. The company appears to be looking for empathetic, people-oriented individuals, but the work environment can, paradoxically, cause these very people to gradually lose their enthusiasm, motivation, and empathy, eventually leading them to adopt a form of apathy. I therefore believe it is necessary to give serious thought to management practices, leadership training, and the quality of the work environment.
