Founded on 14th April 1900 in Paris, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world governing body for cycling. Its mission is to develop and supervise cycling in all its forms and for everybody, as a competitive sport, as a healthy recreational activity and as a means of transport and having fun. Additionally, the UCI promotes a number of its own events, including the UCI Road World Championships, an iconic annual event, and a wide range of other UCI World Championships and World Cups across the various disciplines. It is based in Aigle, Switzerland, at the UCI World Cycling Centre.

To support the Track and Indoor Cycling Units of the Sports Department, the UCI is seeking an :

The Assistant will support the Track and Indoor Cycling Units in order to achieve the goals of these disciplines.

Main responsibilities :

  • Provide administrative support for Track and Indoor cycling including but not limited to:

- Handling correspondence with various stakeholders

- Preparation and review of various documents and presentations for the UCI Management Committee, UCI Commissions, organisers

- Ensuring appropriate follow-up of the calendar for each discipline by ensuring the database and UCI website are up to date

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the organisation of the UCI World Championships, UCI World Cups, commission meetings
  • Support the UCI Track Coordinator with the administrative tasks related to the homologation of velodromes.
  • As required, support Track & Indoor Cycling Manager in their daily tasks.

Profil :

  • Holder of a CFC (Federal Certificate of Capacity) for commercial employee or equivalent
  • Excellent writing skills in English and French
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Monday.com an asset
  • Rigorous, detail-oriented
  • Motivated, curious, open-minded and flexible
  • Ability to work autonomously while having a good team spirit
  • Available to travel occasionnaly and to work weekends
  • Passionate about sport in general and cycling in particular.
