The role
We are looking for a business minded and security-conscious Software Engineer to join our innovative team to lead the development of our technical ecosystem that manages sensitive healthcare data. The ideal candidate brings a combination of software development and Product Management capabilities.
You will work in an agile environment with fast development cycles to ensure robust, secure platforms for our clinic operations. The role involves the coordination of an external development team with a Technical Lead mindset and co-development responsibilities. You will take the lead for all kinds of technical decisions. Responsibilities
You will work on the entire Software Architecture including the development of our own technical platform as well the integration of the payment and marketing stack.
- Develop an application that is both engaging and informative, balancing ease of use with the need to communicate complex health information clearly to users.
- Develop and maintain robust backend infrastructure using Ruby on Rails ensuring the secure handling of sensitive healthcare data.
- Bring a strong product understanding to ensure that the healthcare application is not only functional but also delivers an exceptional user experience.
- Continuously look for ways to improve the product, applying insights from data analytics and the latest technological developments, such as AI.
- Manage and optimize databases with MySQL focusing on data integrity, encryption, and secure storage of personal health information.
- Collaborate with the team on Gitlab for project management and secure version control, managing development tasks through ticketing systems.
- Ensure high-level encryption and security protocols are consistently applied, safeguarding patient records, diagnostics, and treatment data from unauthorized access.
- Actively contribute your own ideas for improving the product, aiming to create a high-quality healthcare solution that empowers users to manage their health.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails for backend development.
- Solid experience with Tailwind CSS, Flowbite, and other frontend frameworks for building modern user interfaces.
- Deep product understanding with a desire to create a user-friendly, engaging, and highly functional healthcare application.
- Great understanding of technology, with a curiosity for new developments, including AI and emerging technologies.
- Experience in data analytics, with the ability to interpret data to improve product performance and user experience.
- Experience working with sensitive healthcare data, understanding privacy laws, and implementing systems that ensure data protection.
- Capability to develop an application that is both informative and engaging, balancing usability with the need to communicate important health data effectively.
- Proficiency in both English and German is required for effective communication with the team and stakeholders.
