Research Fellow

University of Zurich's Center for Dental Medicine is one of the four dental university centers of Switzerland. It has approximately 390 employees and comprises six clinics, an institute, and a central administration department.

The vacant position is at the Clinic for Masticatory Disorders and Dental Biomaterials.

Research Fellow

• Teaching basic and applied dental materials at undergraduate level
• Contribution to undergraduate and post-graduate curriculum
• Formulate teaching goals
• Formulate exam questions
• Supervise hands-on courses
• Evaluate student assignments

• Master or PhD degree in material science
• Good understanding of medical and dental applications
• Experience with teaching medical and dental biomaterials
• Good command of didactic skills
• Interest in biomaterials research
• Highly motivated and responsible, independent and well-organized working style
• Knowledge of German and English at a professional level

• An interdisciplinary working environment, giving high responsibility and freedom
• Working with young and motivated team
