The Sub-Chapter Instrument Design Verification is part of R&D Point of Care, which is accountable for research and development activities on all systems of the BG/E (Blood Gas and Electrolytes) portfolio from Roche Diagnostics.

This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, on site with the potential to do some work from home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribution to the development of a new or the product care of existing Blood Gas, Metabolite and Electrolyte diagnostic instrument / medical device by

  • Support in setting up electromechanical test rigs

  • Support in testing of electromechanical modules or test rigs

  • Support in troubleshooting of electromechanical modules

  • Support in compliant reporting and documentation of the respective results

  • Support in Computer System Validation (CSV) of the used tool chain

Who You Are

You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of (Bio)Medical or Electrical Engineering within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.

Furthermore you are

  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage

  • A team-player

  • Looking for an international, interdisciplinary team to develop your personal and professional skills

Technical details:

The preferred start date for the internship is September 2024. Please state your preferred start date and the desired duration of the internship in your application.

The application deadline is April 30th.

Interviews will take place in the second and third week of May (between 13th and 23rd May).
