For our modern production site in Zug, we are looking for a committed, practical, and responsible individual as (Senior) IT/OT System Engineer. In this role, you are responsible for the stable, secure, and future-oriented operation of our production-related IT and OT systems and actively contribute your expertise to the further development of the infrastructure.
You can expect a dynamic working environment with a modern, broadly positioned IT/OT landscape that includes several hundred clients, a double-digit number of highly available server systems, a powerful network infrastructure, and a variety of production-related applications. Your new tasks
- Responsibility for the stable, secure, and highly available operation as well as the further development of the local IT infrastructure in the OT environment, including analysis, remediation, and sustainable prevention of disruptions in operational business
- Coordination and close collaboration with external partners, combined with a pronounced service understanding towards production as an internal customer
- Administration, support, and further development of Windows clients, Windows servers, as well as central Microsoft, network, server, and domain services
- Participation in the implementation of cybersecurity measures in the OT environment
- Willingness to perform alternating on-call duties as well as deployments outside regular working hours
- Support and management of technical projects and subprojects
Your talents and experience
- Education: Completed basic training with further education (university, university of applied sciences, higher vocational school) in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
- Experience and knowledge:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable environment
- Sound knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server, as well as the modern Microsoft product range
- Good knowledge in the areas of Active Directory, networks, DNS, DHCP, Azure, MS SQL, Hyper-V, PowerShell, and Android or comparable technologies
- Linux knowledge is an advantage
- Strong understanding of the importance of cybersecurity in production environments
- Working style: Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style; good communication skills as well as pronounced teamwork ability
- Language skills: Business fluent German skills in spoken and written form, any additional language is a plus
