We are looking for, for our world headquarters in Châtel-St-Denis, our future,

Global Controlling Manager

Main role:

  • Responsible for all controlling activities for the Laurastar Group which are:

o Monthly, quarterly and annual financial figures for profit and cost centers in 5 European countries.

o Annual budget process and financial forecasts.

o Production and repair center.

o Sales activity and pricing.

  • Work on key projects in collaboration with other departments, notably with the Executive Committee.
  • Deputy of the Global Finance and Controlling Director.
  • Presence at the Laurastar HQ in Châtel-Saint-Denis, Switzerland required with 2 days remote work.

Key activities:

  • Preparation of monthly reporting by department, consolidation, and analysis of variances.
  • Organization and coordination of the budgeting process with managers.
  • Management of the financial settings of the production plant and repair center in the ERP.
  • Analysis, reporting, and control of monthly sales by product, region and channel.
  • Analysis and review of investment expenses with departmental managers.
  • Support and submission of dashboards to market managers for quarterly reviews.
  • Maintenance of selling prices and transfer prices in the ERP and reporting tool.
  • Calculation of product prices during all stages of the value chain.
  • Analysis, review, and control of prices and profitability for existing and new products in close. collaboration with sales and marketing departments.
  • Update and continuous improvement of the Internal Control System (ICS).

Technical Competencies :

  • Graduate education (university or HES) in finance, or Federal certificate/Diploma in Finance and Controlling.
  • Strong knowledge in creating and analyzing financial statistics and accounting.
  • Excellent English and French skills: strong proficiency in both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiar with Qliksense or any other data reporting tool is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of an ERP system, Oracle EBS is a plus.

Experiences :

  • Minimum 5 years in a similar position as a financial controller.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Knowledge of the consumer goods industry or equivalent in both production and sales.
