Director, Strategy

We are looking for a Director, Strategy to drive Expedia Group's strategic efforts and frame complex business problems. In this business-critical role, you will be integral in helping strategic C-suite decision-making with regard to analytics and supply quality.

What you'll do:

  • Frame complex business problems into clear and tangible deliverables for the C-suite, aiding in decision-making.
  • Coordinate analytics outputs directly contributing to Expedia Group business reviews and board meetings.
  • Challenge and review the business relevancy of the entire analytics portfolio.
  • Frame complex analytical problems effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with TPM, Product, and Business Units teams.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and growth, building high-level business cases.
  • Contribute to Expedia Group's strategic planning process with all Yield and Analytics inputs and business cases.

Who you are:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Computer Science preferred.
  • Proven experience in strategy and management consulting in the hotel industry or hospitality sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and analyze complex business operations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to align and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and driving innovation.
