Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the Senior HR Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Emiratization initiatives within the organization. This includes contributing to the development and execution of the annual Emiratization plan. Additionally, you will be expected to serve as a brand ambassador for Zurich Middle East, promoting the company's values and reputation.

Job Accountabilities

As Senior HR Supervisor, you will be expected to:

  • Supporting in designing and managing internship programmes and other initiatives to attract Emirati talents.
  • Support the HR Business Partner (HRBP) in liaising with hiring managers, provide guidance on Emiratization-related processes, and assist in making informed decisions about rotation or employee relations matters.
  • Manage efforts to attract Emirati talents including, delivering presentations at local universities, represent the organization at career fairs and participate in campus recruitment activities.
  • Collaborate with HRBP and Talent Acquisition team, participate in interviewing and screening process, when delegated.
  • Assist with marketing and social media campaigns related to Emiratization initiatives.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on policies, procedures, and advice for our Emirati workforce, liaising with the line managers to resolve employee relations queries.
  • Actively participate to all Emiratisation initiatives and propose improvements to the employee retention strategies for Emirati talents.
  • Maintain knowledge of the NAFIS program and manage the associated portal.
  • Regulatory:
  • Support the Head of Legal and HRBP with ongoing communication, requests, and actions related to regulatory bodies like the Central Bank and Ministry of Human Resources.
  • Accurately and timely maintain the Tawteen portal and relevant reporting.
  • Monitor Emirati headcount, movements, retention rates, and ensure accurate record-keeping for prompt reporting.
  • Maintain training logs for training activities of our Emirati workforce and submit related reports in Tawteen.
  • Learning and Talent Management:
  • Promote EIF training courses among Emirati workforce by collaborating with Marketing and L&D lead.
  • Explore new approaches to address the L&D needs of our Emirati workforce.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Support the employee relations matters.
  • Participate in social committees to generate local cultural activities.
  • Contribute to designing and building recognition programs.
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Collaborate with the HRBP to develop, implement, and review HR policies and processes. Ensure compliance with Zurich’s governance and internal controls.
  • Participate in and support HR projects.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Head of HR and HRBP, as needed

Job Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • UAE national with a family book
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, professional certificate in in HR is an advantage
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Fluent in English and Arabic language, level B2 or higher.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive and self-starter.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and unbiased judgement.
  • Willingness to learn and work in other areas of HR to manage peaks in the team’s workload and cover for colleagues as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
